I have decided that there must be a group for the fans of Eragon, Eldest and Chris Paolini. I had the pleaseure of meeting him personally during his book tour and found him even more intruiging than I had imagined!

I only ask that any member respect all the dA rules as well as Chris's books. This group is meant for fans to converge and showcase their fan art, fictions and so forth.

there will be contests and so forth as soon as i get members and some more organization.

• if you have your own Eragon dragonrider character please feel free to submit him/her with or withour their dragon

• ~duShurtugals is open to all medias of fanart or fanfiction as long as it is within the parameters of the deviantArt policies.

• please no art stealing or ripping and id like for the submissions to be view only so i will disable all commenting on the submissions. PLEASE do NOT the art here! im sure the artists would like for the art to be faved at their original pages. yes, i will provide a link.

feel free to note the club or myself at my personal deviant page with any sugguestions, questions or concerns. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

Greetings Shurtugals! I apologize for letting this get so behind but you cannot imagine how busy my summer has been! My week in mexico was absolutely lovely i sugguest you each go there once in your lives. Since that week ended I have been working my wings off at my 2 jobs with a third for 3 weekends. I found some time to keep up with my personal account but sadly i could not start anything here because i knew it would not be finished.
But I'm BACK! with a VENGANCE! ^_^ just kidding. I have such great news i have a half dozen or so submissions 2 new members one of which, ~demondragon11, asked to be an admin and i granted her readily because i sure need the help! so i'll be working to get all your submissions up don;t worry i have not forgotten promise!

Great News! ~duShurtugals is not dead! im sorry i let it slip fior a while but hopefully i can keep us up and swinging! we have a few new members, one who submitted a bundle of art for the gallery, which i will submit periodically so i dont overload your messages. also my dear friend ~Pyro-Techno got back to us and *Pyro-club is now our newest affiliate! now i know you guys love dragons and if you love fire go and join now! its fairly new but he's got about 3 contests running at present and *Pyro-club is growing fast ^_^ as i also mentioned im the assistant admin to pyro and will be taking over along with ~Pyro-the-Firedragon while ~Pyro-Techno is on vacation.
lot's of good things happening! ^_^

Kvetha my fellow riders! well my life has regained some order and im enjoying a small rest before my shool finals. exciting news we have three new members! one of which is a fanfic writer, our first here at duShurtugals. I asked for a link to her story and she provided me the first enstallment and its sequel.
I'm quite happy we have some new art for the gallery i'm thinking of having a new avatar of DevID contest. comment back on which you'd like to do!
i'll try to check back as soon as possible. i'm a little busy with RL and assistant admin.'ng for . im gonna talk to and hopefully we can affiliate so some of the pyro dragons there can join us and please by all means join there! We're running an icon contest presently so check it out!

ive been extremely bogged down with homework and since im awful at running a good club for you guys...ill be keeping the doors here shut for a while...don't worry i;ll re-open at the start of summer when school itin't looming over my shoulder constantly.
ill send out a message then as to weither or not anyone cares enough to keep this ball rolling...

wow 2006! i know it's a month late but i have been far too busy. my personal life is like crack on crak at the moment.
that aside...once again ~EragonClub is far ahead of me and running another contest, go see them for details.

wow it has been a while. im so sorry for being gone for so long but my life is so hectic. im happy to say we have a new member *Sheikan-fire so that brings us to a grand gathering of 11!

again there are a few people who have devwatched the group but not sent us a note concerning joining us. if you do want to be a member please just drop a note into the box and let me know. id love to have you!
also if its getting pretty patchy between updates please send a note to my account or the other admins and remind one of us that this still exists. life can be a bit crazy im sure you all know.

i just wanted to send some news that our affiliate ~EragonClub is holding a 'Brom' contest for details see their journal. there is also an avatar link at the bottom of this page if you'd like to see more about them.

thigns will be a bit slow unfortunately until i get some more members. but for now send in your art/writing etc, and always feel free to note us with any ideas. i could use all the helpful suggestions.
